Open Days and Visits
Visiting the school gives you the opportunity to see our school ‘in action’, meet our wonderful teachers and hear from the girls themselves. You are welcome to attend an Open Day and see our vibrant, family-feel school or book an individual visit, where you can tour the school and boarding house, whilst meeting girls of a similar age to your daughter, you will meet the Headmaster, Mr Wood and have the opportunity to ask any admissions questions.
Our Open Days are ideal for an initial visit, as you will have the opportunity to join us in celebrating our annual themes, Creativity, Community and Challenge.
One parent commented 'girls all seemed very confident, and that they really enjoy school life!' - we are proud that the girls and the staff present our nurturing, family feel school so wonderfully, and the girls come across as confident and enthusiastic. We are confident that you will be equally impressed when you visit us.
During your tour, our students guide you around the School to see our facilities, boarding houses, and to meet our staff. Our students are in lessons, so you are able to experience our School in its day-to-day life – you will catch a glimpse of our teaching methods, environments, and see how staff and students interact inside and outside of the classroom! After the tour, parents and their daughters are invited to attend a presentation to hear from the Headmaster, key members of staff and our students.
We warmly invite you to book a place on our Open Day. Please contact our Admissions Department or complete the enquiry form.
Individual visits can also be arranged to give you a more detailed and personalised experience.
- There will be the opportunity to meet our Headmaster, Mr Wood, or Mrs Cecy Kemp, Head of Juniors, and to discuss your daughter’s application in greater detail.
- The visit will also include a tour of the school and the boarding house if applicable.
Taster Days can be arranged for your daughter before joining the school. Our Admissions Team can create a tailored programme where your daughter will have the opportunity to take part in lessons with her future classmates and enjoy some creative and sporting activities, ensuring the transition to Roedean Moira House is as smooth as can possibly be.
We recommend all applicants experience a taster day to see our teachers in action, spend time with fellow girls, and experience our exhilarating education.
