The League, our Prefect system, represent the voice of the Roedean Moira House student body. Throughout the school, girls are encouraged to take responsibility and to act as role-models to others within the school community - they are proactive in ensuring that Roedean Moira House is a happy and supportive environment.
In all year groups, each tutor group nominates Form Representatives who have a role to play on School Council and when there are charity events taking place. This allows girls from the youngest in the school to the oldest have a voice and a part to play in the day-to-day running of the school.
The League play a prominent role in school life. Following applications, the League are elected pending a successful interview, before the School Knights, Captains and Prefects are appointed. The School Knights run the School Council and acts as the conduit between the senior staff and the students.

The girls also lead Pyramid competitions, such as Sport, Music and Drama. Each Pyramid has a Pyramid Captain.
Some of the senior girls choose to be Guardian Angels, for which they receive targeted training, and they are accessible to support younger girls in school who want to talk to a friendly face. Not only does this help others, but it also develops important skills in the listener, such as discretion, patience, and compassion.
